The membership of the IACBT is open to professionals (i.e., practitioners, academicians, trainers, researchers) and students from such disciplines as
Psychology, Psychiatry, Child Development, and Social Work in addition to institutions/corporates; whose area of work as well as professional
interests are conducive to the objects of the Association and have implications for furthering them.
The IACBT is primarily an interest group and its
membership alone does not provide any professional status. Following are the category of membership and their eligibility criteria:
PROFESSIONAL
INITIAL REGISTRATION FEE Rs. 5000/ | ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEE Rs. 1500/-CRITERIA:- A professional possessing a post-graduate degree in Psychology, Psychiatry, Child Development or Social Work and having formal training in CBT (as part of their PG studies or separately) from a recognized Institution in India or abroad and who has been actively involved in teaching/training, research or practice for three years or more in India and has a professional interest in CBT shall be eligible to become a professional member of the IACBT.
ASSOCIATE
INITIAL REGISTRATION FEE Rs. 3500/- | ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEE Rs. 1000/-CRITERIA:- An individual possessing a post-graduate degree in any discipline from a Government College or Institution or a Government recognized college or institution or a private college or institution in India recognized by the UGC and holds a personal or professional interest in CBT.
LIFE
INITIAL REGISTRATION FEE Rs. 10,000/-CRITERIA:-A person qualified to become a professional member of IACBT and who contributes a one-time sum of Rs.10000/- to the IACBT can become a life member of the IACBT.
STUDENT
INITIAL REGISTRATION FEE Rs. 1500/- | ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEE Rs. 500/-CRITERIA:- A student enrolled in a Graduate or PG course in Psychology, Psychiatry, Social Work or Child Development from a recognized Indian University / Institute and having personal or professional interest in CBT.
FOREIGN AFFILIATE
INITIAL REGISTRATION FEE $ 250 | ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEE $80CRITERIA:- PG in any discipline from an accredited University or Institute outside India and living and working abroad for more than five years having professional interest in CBT. CBT.
CORPORATE
INITIAL REGISTRATION FEE Rs. 25000/- | ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION FEE Rs. 5000/-CRITERIA:- Institutions or corporates who have a professional interest in CBT and are keen to contribute towards the objectives of IACBT.
